Carousel of Naptime

Thrash metal comedy 0:53 Suno v5.5

The Carousel of Progress becomes a funny nap trap, with Dad drifting in the dark while the ride keeps talking. Forty-five seconds of thrash metal about needing a nap in the air conditioning.

Where it came from

Confession: I never actually fell asleep on the Carousel of Progress. I was too hot, too sweaty, and too tired to pull off an actual nap — which is its own kind of tired. But I watched a few other dads doze off mid-revolution, and the song wrote itself from there.

The whole bit is the dichotomy: naptime, those old-timey animatronics (kinda cringe, though honestly I find them endearing, eye-rolls and all) and thrash metal, welded together in under a minute. I thought it would be funny. I stand by it.

This one was also me deliberately stretching Suno to see what it would do: a what-would-this-even-sound-like experiment that survived the cutting room floor.
