Where it came from
Second take on the same rooftop. After the Gainsbourg pass it hit me that two of my genuine favorite artists are French, and Phoenix got the next slot — same dinner, same fireworks, but brighter and tighter, more neon than candlelight.
I liked the takes too much to pick between them. So I didn’t.
