Sleepin’ In and Rollin’ Out
Blues-rock anthem 4:00 Suno v5.5
After a huge first day, everyone sleeps in and rolls out toward Hollywood Studios. Frances is eager for Slinky Dog Dash while Dad and Henry get ready for droid-building and Runaway Railway.
Where it came from
We overdid it on the first day, all of us, and paid for it the next morning. The plan had been to rope-drop something: get to Hollywood Studios early, beat the lines. The reality was everybody sleeping in and a long, slow crank into gear. That gap between the plan and the morning is the whole song.
The style was picked for the destination: Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster was on the docket, and it’s the Aerosmith ride, so I aimed straight for Aerosmith. It came out Van Halen instead. Close enough — either way it’s the right kind of swaggering 80s noise for talking yourself into a park day you’re not entirely awake for.

- The idea, as typed
- Write an original upbeat 1970s blues-rock arena anthem for a family’s second day at Disney World. The song should have crunchy electric guitar riffs, swinging drums, handclaps, a little harmonica, raspy energetic lead vocals, playful backing shouts, and a huge singalong chorus. The mood is tired-but-hyped vacation swagger: the family had a huge first park day, everyone slept in, and now they’re rallying for Hollywood Studios. Include these specific details naturally in the lyrics: Day Two at Disney World, sleeping in after a big first day, heading to Hollywood Studios, riding Slinky Dog Dash, riding Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Henry building a Star Wars droid with Dad, and Frances being especially excited for Slinky Dog Dash. Make it kid-friendly, funny, sunny, and full of family adventure energy. Use a big catchy chorus that repeats the idea “sleeping in and rolling out.” Avoid copying any real artist or song; make it original classic blues-rock.
